Irving Brewers celebrated their 2nd year of trading on Saturday 31^st October

South Hampshire CAMRA and Portsmouth and South East Hampshire CAMRA visited the brewery and we were delighted to be presented with the three awards which we won at the Gosport Winterfest Beer festival in February. Admiral was voted Best Stout (or Porter) of the Festival, Frigate was voted Best Standard Bitter of the Festival and also it was voted overall beer of the festival. The Gosport Winterfest is a fantastic beer festival run by our local CAMRA, definitely worth the ferry trip on a cold February night, see you there next year, cheers!

Malcolm, Mark and Lynn attended the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2009 launch at the George on the top of Portsdown Hill. We were delighted to be presented with the three awards which we won at the Gosport Winterfest Beer festival in February. Frigate was voted Best Standard Bitter of the Festival, Invincible was voted Best Premium Bitter of the Festival and also it was voted overall beer of the festival

Its TYPE 42 for you! The first casks of Type 42 were launched from the brewery today. Our fifth beer is a lovely Ruby Red best bitter with sweet berry notes balancing a lasting malty finish.
